- Kathyrn Marie (Springer) Matchett's ashes were scattered over her mother's and father's (Theodore and Leva Matchett's) grave in Red Bank, N.B. Canada in November of 2001. Frank Springer, her second eldest son, Christine Springer, her eleventh child and her Common-Law husband Jim Dowd, Starlene (Matchett) Stewart and Kelly (Matchett) Stewart (Omer and mom's twin's sister Teresa's children) attended the graveside ceremony on behalf of both families and did the service themselves.
